Bring the two elements together and voila ~ Parenting Journal!

I have decided to incorporate journals into my niche. It's also easier for me to jot things down in a journal than have to type them all in paragraphs. I have to be honest I'm not an excellent writer and my vocabulary is limited. But with bullet journal, I could just write them all down or doodle them when I run out of words.

As a mother of a newborn (or not so newly born) baby, I love to keep record of my baby's milestones.
I keep them in a journal where I could just scan through them all over again.

Diaper and Wipes/Wet Cotton

Fact: Babies just eat, sleep, and poop. Another fact: Babies will do it anytime and anywhere.
The number of extra diapers to bring depends on the peeing/pooping habit of the baby. I usually bring 3-4 diapers but I only get to use one or two most of the time.


For cleaning, I prefer to use cotton balls soaked in water. I put these on milk storage bottles for easy handling. The wipes is just something I bring in case I ran out of wet cotton.

Nursing Blanket

Back when I was still breastfeeding my little man, I bring nursing blanket instead of the feeding bottles.

I'm all for breastfeeding and I believe it should be acceptable to even do it on public.
However, I hate getting unwanted stares from people who thinks that breastfeeding should be done on comfort rooms. *eye rolls*

Stroller or Baby Carrier

I gave birth to an eight-pound baby and he's gaining weight day by day. I definitely need something to help me bring all that weight. This would also allow me to use my arms for something else, such as bringing grocery bags. Also if the little man decides to sleep, he can just lie down on the stroller comfortably.


These are some things I find necessary to bring when going out with the baby.
I know babies are different and each may have different needs, so my list may not be sufficient for some.

I would love to know what stuff you bring for your baby when you go out. :)

Hi.

I am writing this on the 7th of April.

Well, I was not really going to write anything today but I just had the most disturbing dream... ever.

Maybe you're guessing it's about me being unwanted and all because of my blog title.



But, no.

This is not about me.

This has nothing to do with my life right now.

This is about the unwanted children.

Children whose parents could not even love and accept them.

I can't even have the courage to search for a photo for this part.


So just like in any usual dreams, it all started somewhere unfamiliar with people I don't even know who.

But then all I know is that when I am still in my dreams, I kind of know them and it kind of have a reason why I am with these people.

We were on the hospital and there's this woman who had just given birth.

She said she never really wanted the child and so she wants to do the "procedure".

The so-called procedure is to bathe the newborn with vinegar.

The vinegar would slowly burn the newborn until he "melts"... literally.

It was really sad and painful... and I was just there!

I wanted to convince them not to go through with it, but it seems I have no control over myself.

I can't speak to them.

I can't reason out.

I just stood there and watched.

I can hear the baby cry.

....

I can't explain how I feel.

I am sad. Angry. I don't know!

And then I closed my eyes because I can't take this harsh "reality" that some parents could do this to their child.

Just then, I woke up.

I saw my daughter beside me and I hugged her tight.

I am writing this article so that people would realize that what they're doing to an unborn child is no different from the born ones.

NO to abortion.

YES to LIFE.
